Most people may value perfume only as an addition to their personal toiletry. We also can appreciate it on others or enjoy a pleasing scent in the garden or the general atmosphere. But perfume possesses other qualities not so quickly recognized.

Aromas improve our quality of life by the additional of beautiful perfumes or can harm us by the destructive power of chemical or traffic fumes. Fish Oil Pills, DHA and EPA Fish Oil Help Rheumatoid Arthritis

Uncategorized No Comments »

Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term progressive disease which destroys cartiledge and leads to bone deterioration.  Deformaties can occur in severe cases.  Those who suffer from this ailment experience a steadily worsening condition.  Medical evidence shows that a well planned response to the disease in its early stages will slow its progression.  Diets high in foods that increase inflammation in the body may also lead to more severe forms of rheumatoid arthritis.

Anti-inflammatory nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA fish oil, which have been shown to help reduce a wide range of inflammations in the body, can potentially reduce the effects of rheumatoid arthritis and the risk of long term disability.  This is mostly attributed to a physiological effect that DHA in particular has on the production in the body of various inflammatory enzymes.  Unlike some of the current rheumatoid arthritis drugs, omega 3 supplements or fish oil pills reduce, rather than increase, the risk of cardiovascular disease.

DHA fish oil is vital to overall health and impacts nearly every aspect of the body’s ability to properly function.  It can help restore the fatty acid imbalance  in people with acute rheumatoid arthritis.  Taken with multi-vitamins, omega 3 capsules are an integral part of a healthy diet.

Fish Oil Purified by Molecular Distillation

Uncategorized No Comments »

As the popularity of omega3 complex nutrients continues to grow, so has the concern by many health experts over high levels of known hazardous contaminants present in cold water fish and, logically, fish oil supplements.  The FDA warns pregnant women to limit their intake of fresh fish because of high concentrations of heavy metals such as mercury and lead.  Of course, this warning also applies to supplements.

The purification technique most commonly used is molecular distillation.  This process during manufacturing, combines low heat separation along with a chemical treatment to remove heavy metals and man-made pollutants such as PCBs.  Molecular distillation also concentrates the most beneficial components, the EPA and DHA in fish oil.

A recent test of fish oil supplements by consumerlab.com rated dozens of different brands on different criteria such as concentration of both DHA and EPA, and how well the product may be absorbed.  One of the most interesting findings in the review is that every one of the products tested was found to be free of mercury, PCBs and other contaminants commonly found in fish.  The only way to achieve this is through molecular distillation and purification.  Make sure your omega 3 fish oil supplement is molecular distilled to remove residual heavy metals so you can be confident you are supplementing your health without contaminating your body.
