Dealing with excessive sweating is quite the ordeal. Having large sweat stains develop on your underarms, then being self-conscious about making any movements with your hands, wondering if others will pick up on the fact that your sweating is a little out of control. You want to find an anti-perspirant which contains around 20% of "aluminum chloride". This compound will prevent sweat from breaking through the surface of your skin and thus reduce your sweating by as much as 20%. All anti-perspirants actually by FDA regulations musta actually prove a 20% reduction in sweating in order for them to be classified and sold as anti-perspirants.
There are many different brands of anti-perspirants you can choose from. If you don’t find one that works for you after 2,3 or 4 attempts, don’t give up. There are plenty of people who were able to stop underarm sweating substantially by finding an anti-perspirant that works for them.
2. Drink More Water
You would think by doing this you’ll be gushing sweat like no tomorrow, but the truth is by drinking cold water, you will help your body regulate it’s temperature and keep it cool, which is what your body is trying to do through sweating. So by drinking cold water you will help regulate your body temperature and stop underarm sweating from getting too out of control.
An additional benefit by the way is that your body will be better able to flush out toxins in your body. This can result in reduced odor from your sweat as well.
3. Watch what You Eat
If you want to stop underarm sweating, watch your intake of spicy/hot foods. These types of food induce sweating from your body. Be particularly careful of spicy Chinese, Mexican and Indian foods. If you commonly eat these types of foods, try limiting your intake, and see how that works for you.
